Blood is a serious thing. I have come to know it personally.
I was able to watch your XXX episode (10-18-08) in regards with the abuse of commercial blood banks in Manila. It is the episode wherein an HIV positive was able to donate blood in Seaton Blood Bank. Though I find the episode very informative and important I also noticed a misconception. I’m not even going to touch stereotyping.
The idea that a person with a tattoo cannot donate blood is false. I know that a person should wait 12 months before he can donate. The same applies for body piercings or any operations that involves needles. I have waited up to the end of the show to see any clarifications that you will make in regards of the tattoo, but there was none. Please inform the public well. There might be persons who have tattoos that are willing to give blood but are misinformed.

Sabi nila, madami daw pakahulugan ang tato. Para sa mga tao nuon, isa itong simbolo ng katayuan sa pamayanan. Ngayon naman, mas kilala ito biglang isang paraan ng pagpapahayag sa sarili.
Anuman ang dahilan ng isang tao sa kanyang tato, hindi ito dapat makapigil sa kanyang pag-unlad at higit sa lahat, sa pagtulong sa kapwa.
